Shhh...Not Yet!

Updated: Feb 24, 2019

Listen…there are some things God is doing in your life that is absolutely NO ONE’S BUSINESS. Then, there are times when you need to keep silent for a time and then you will be released to invite others in.

We have to learn the difference between the two. All that God does through us is for the benefit of His will. There is nothing wrong with getting excited about the plan of God for your life but realize that not everyone will accept an invitation to your party. Joseph, the dreamer, discovered the price he would pay for prematurely sharing what God showed him when, as the scripture reads, “And they hated him all the more because of his dreams and the way he talked about them… When Joseph’s brothers saw him coming, they recognized him in the distance. As he approached, they made plans to kill him.” (Genesis 37) Although people in your life may not be, physically, trying to kill you, they will come after your character, your integrity and your reputation. They may disguise themselves as friends or advisors; while sowing doubt and fear into your mind. They prey on those with potential, while praying for you to fail, fall or forfeit your promise.

DON’T LET THAT SPIRIT GAIN ACCESS TO YOU! Godly counsel is wise and recommended but it cannot forsake your OBEDIENCE to the voice of God. Nehemiah prayed to God for his people, then asked for and received assistance from the king but didn’t speak a word about the details to anyone; including those in authority or even those who went with him. Am I encouraging you to keep secrets from the ones God placed in your life to help guide you? No. What I AM saying is that talking may be toxic if it's not the right time. Stop sitting and “thinking of a master plan” and start executing it. Get busy. Get active. Take a risk. Walk on the water. Finish what you started. Be obedient to God, do what He says and it won’t matter what anyone thinks. Play your part in the MANIFESTATION of your PROMISES.
